CLARENT RELEASES DEBUT EP ‘NO VUELVE A SUCEDER’

Clarent, New Music, Music, Latin Entertainment, Latin Music, Latin Artist

Puerto Rican rising star, Clarent, releases his debut EP, ‘No Vuelve a Suceder,’ via Warner Music Latin. This EP brings together 10 tracks that explore the intersection of reggaeton and trap through an honest, emotional and unfiltered lens. It’s a project that defines who the artist is today – real, from the streets and with a rockstar attitude that runs through every song, as he recently affirmed in his first ever interview with Galore. Far from formulas, the EP is born from personal experiences and writing from whatever is being felt in the moment, a constant in Clarent’s creative process.

The tracklist includes previously released singles, “MALDAD,” an ethereal and introspective reggaeton record that moves between vulnerability, pain and emotional memory, as well as “SCAT PACK,” his highly anticipated collaboration with Omar Courtz – a track that fuses electro-pop and trap and was released after constant demand from fans since the song was leaked. Also previously released is “LOVE,” a song that fans worldwide longed for after going viral on TikTok from a leak becoming one of his biggest of his career – the track has amassed over 33 million streams on Spotify, reached #2 in Spain, placed in the Top 5 on Apple Music in San Juan and entered the Spotify Top 200 in Colombia.

No Vuelve a Suceder’ also weaves through a collection of sounds unheard from Clarent like the hard hitting perreo of “Oh My” conversely he showcases a more introspective and emotional penmanship on a song like, “Otro Momento,” a dive into a more vulnerable side of the artist. Clarent also approaches pop effortlessly by keeping true to the streets on verses and only coming to the surface on hooks on “Esta Vida” alongside Spanish artist Morad, who is only one of two collaborators on this project. Clarent will make his position clear as one of the brightest breakthrough talents coming out Puerto Rico through strong lyricism and his ability to flow on 808 heavy beats from his trusted producer Jonniel on cuts like album opener “Bienvenida” and “Burros.”

Throughout the EP, Clarent strikes a natural balance between raw, street-rooted verses and more melodic, accessible hooks, expanding his sound without losing authenticity. This release marks the official beginning of a new artistic chapter and serves as the introduction of an artist with a clear vision, a solid identity and a path that is only just beginning.
