DEBUT ALBUM SMOKESTACK TOWN TAKES OLE 60 TO NEW HEIGHTS
With the release of their debut album, Smokestack Town, independent folk-rock six-piece Ole 60 soars to new heights.
“Landing somewhere between Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Crazy Horse, and So-Cal punk,” (GRAMMY.com), the on-fire six piece prove their potency with an impressive first week. Smokestack Town peaked at #2 on Apple Music’s Top Country Albums chart, debuted at #3 on Spotify’s Top Debut Albums U.S.A. chart and at #10 on the streamer’s Top Global Albums chart. The project enters at #38 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, a career high for the band, and clocks 12 million domestic album streams in its first week alone.
Produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Zach Bryan, Modest Mouse) and Justin Eckerd, Smokestack Town creates its own world – a fictional place based on the heart of America, where small town tropes spring to life. From its never-changing backdrop, to the mistakes and heartbreak of youth and the regrets accrued along the way, Smokestack Town doubles down on what sets Ole 60 apart.
On the road now, Ole 60 recently expanded their current headlining U.S. 2025 Tour with seven additional dates, including their first-ever arena headliner at Owensboro Sportscenter on New Year’s Eve. Last week, the band opened for Charles Wesley Godwin at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
This Friday, Ole 60 join past performers Stephen Wilson Jr., Collective Soul, and more as they go Live From The Print Shop. Debuting a nearly 90-minute full band live performance captured in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this year, the band plays fan favorite cuts across their catalog, from three twenty four to Smokestack Town. The performance will premiere at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT HERE; watch the first teaser HERE.
