DUA LIPA ANNOUNCES LIVE ALBUM AND CONCERT FILM “DUA LIPA (LIVE FROM MEXICO)”
3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa announces Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico) – a brand-new live album and concert film recorded across Dua’s three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros as part of her Radical Optimism Tour.
The concert film premieres May 21st at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on Dua’s YouTube channel. The live album arrives on DSPs May 22nd via Warner Records. Physical copies of the live album are currently available for pre-order HERE and will begin shipping June 5th.
“This tour has been the most beautiful and fulfilling experience of my career so far,” Dua shares onstage in the concert film’s trailer. “You’ve built something bigger than a show. You’ve built a family and I feel that every single night.”
Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico) was recorded and filmed during the epic finale of her global Radical Optimism Tour, and includes a duet with Fher Olvera from the band Maná as part of the show where Dua performed bespoke covers unique to the city she was in. The two performed the band’s classic 1992 hit “Oye Mi Amor,” which Billboard Latin said turned the stadium into “a massive karaoke session celebrating one of the most iconic rock en español bands in the world.”
Throughout the tour, Dua often performed these covers and duets in the local language to honor each city and did so in nine different languages including Spanish, Italian, French, Czech, Dutch, German, Portuguese, and Albanian. The moment became a fan-favorite part of the show with Rolling Stone praising it as “a joyful look back at music history, through the lens of one of today’s most exciting pop stars.”
The Radical Optimism Tour culminated in 92 shows across five continents, including back-to-back sold out dates at Wembley Stadium, with over 1.75 million tickets sold across the global trek. The tour received rave reviews around the world with the Los Angeles Times calling it “unquestionably the most creative, rigorous and musicianship-driven tour of her career,” the BBC praising it was “a powerhouse performance from a star at the top of their game,” and Vogue Mexico confirming it was “an epic night, one to remember.” The tour went on to be crowned one of the best concerts of 2025 from The Hollywood Reporter, who commended its “awe-inspiring production,” along with USA Today, NYLON, and Variety who said it was “yet another testament to how singular she remains in the ever-changing pop landscape.”
