Dynamo return to BBVA Stadium to host New York Red Bulls
The Houston Dynamo return to BBVA Stadium after a 10-day, cross-country road trip on Wednesday night to host the New York Red Bulls.
Houston enters the match with a favorable 5-2-5 record in Texas against New York, which includes back-to-back victories over the Red Bulls at home in 2015 and 2017. Houston will look to generate momentum after a challenging stretch away from BBVA Stadium that saw the club go winless in three consecutive matches.
Midfielder Darwin Ceren snapped a four-game scoreless streak for the Dynamo away from BBVA Stadium with his one-touch volley in the first half of Saturday’s 2-1 loss to New England. Ceren and Romell Quioto returned to the starting lineup after returning to the club from international duty.
