The San Jose Earthquakes participated in the first and second rounds of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft last Thursday, selecting Stanford University center back Tanner Beason with the 12th overall selection. The Quakes also drafted University of North Carolina midfielder Jack Skahan and UMBC left back Jon Bell in the second round with the 27th and 38th overall selections, respectively. San Jose passed on their third and fourth-round selections earlier today.

The club also announced a series of staff updates for the 2020 season, including a multi-year contract extension for Quakes general manager Jesse Fioranelli. Technical director Chris Leitch, head scout Bruno Costa, and head of methodology Alex Covelo also received new multi-year contracts. Find out more here.
