Ella Mai’s “Trip” Reaches #1 At Rhythmic Radio

Grammy-Nominated Artist to Embark On Three-Month Tour Launching in January

Superstar Ella Mai (10 Summers/Interscope Records) will end her whirlwind year at the top of the charts as her single, “Trip” has just reached #1 at Rhythmic Radio. The RIAA Certified Platinum track also peaked at #1 at Urban Radio and the official video has amassed over 53M views on Vevo. Spawning multiple remakes, “Trip” has proven to be a powerful follow-up to Ella’s breakout 4X Platinum single, “Boo’d Up,” both of which were performed during the starlet’s Saturday Night Live debut this fall.

Ella Mai will kick off 2019 strong as she embarks on The Debut Tour in support of her self-titled debut album. The three-month long set will begin on January 8th in Birmingham, UK before wrapping on March 28th, in San Antonio, TX. The Grammy-nominated artist will have her chance to take home the awards for Song of the Year and Best R&B Song (Boo’d Up) during the 61st GRAMMY Awards in February. The nominations come after a stellar awards-season run in which Ella secured three Soul Train Music Awards while earning nominations at the 2018 American Music Awards.

Ella recently released her latest Ellasode celebrating the release of her album, Ella Mai, out worldwide now.
