Bay Area artist, Miles Minnick, makes music that blends elements of hip-hop, rap, and gospel to create a unique and uplifting sound that reflects both his faith and personal journey. As the newly emerged leader of his lane, coupled with his authentic West Coast sound, Minnick caught the attention of Bay Area independent powerhouse record label, EMPIRE, who announces a joint venture with Minnick’s imprint The GLO.
To commemorate the partnership, Minnick shares a brand new single “My Twin” featuring fellow labelmate and multi Platinum selling artist 310babii. The record is about camaraderie amongst friends and the beat interpolates a 1995 house music hit that became a popular anthem. The track offers a blend of energy and inspiration that’s both authentic and impactful, and the accompanying music video showcases big Bay Area energy – fly cars, hyphy dances, and panoramic views of the City.
“This record and collaboration is special to me because this is my first drop of 2025 since officially partnering with EMPIRE,” said Minnick. “It holds a message that music has been missing and represents remaining solid with the ones who came up with you and holding them down even after you come up”.
Minnick has over 500K followers across all platforms and has grown a devoted fan base that he calls “Glo Nation”. His annual festival GLO FEST has sold out for three consecutive years and he recently completed his first national headline tour across venues like Peacock Theater, Angels Stadium, Anaheim’s Honda Center Arena, The Novo and more.
