Nathy Peluso brought an incredible energy to The Novo DTLA as part of her limited five stop U.S. portion of her tour. From the moment the doors opened, the excitement in the air was undeniable. Even before she stepped on stage, the crowd was buzzing with anticipation, breaking into chance, and cheers as the lights dimmed. It was clear that fans had been waiting for this night, and Nathy delivered a performance that exceeded expectations.

From the second she appeared, she owned the stage with effortless confidence. Her presence was captivating, powerful and full of emotion whether she was delivering rap verses or soulful melodies, every moment and expression felt intentional, like she was telling a story through sound and motion. She connected with the crowd in ways that felt raw and genuine, feeding off their energy and giving it right back.

The stage design was simple yet aesthetically pleasing, allowing the focus to stay on Nathy herself while still enhancing the overall atmosphere of the show. Cool times lighting and dramatic shadows crested a very cinematic feel, shifting with the beat and intensity of the performance. I think these elements added more depth to the music without it being overwhelming, but still making certain moments feel larger than life.

As a fan of the urbano Latino genre, this show was everything I hoped for and more. Nathy’s ability to blend rap, R&B and Latin rhythms into something uniquely her own was even more impressive live than studio versions. Each song felt dynamic and alive, pulling the audience deeper into her world.

By the end of the night, it was impossible not to be in awe of her artistry. She is an artist who demands to be seen live and I am grateful to have gotten the chance to experience and capture it. If she ever comes back, I highly recommend grabbing a ticket! A performance you do not want to miss.
