EST Gee Drops Hard-Hitting “MAD” Mixtape With Appearances From Boosie Badazz, Young Scooter & More

Hip-hop artist EST Gee released his new mixtape, MAD, which includes guest appearances from Boosie Badazz and Young Scooter. The project is available to stream on all platforms HERE via CMG Records/Warlike/Interscope Records.

To support the new tape, Gee also released the video for “Ball Like Me Too,” MAD’s fiery second track that continues to showcase the Louisville native’s continued development as one of hip-hop’s most distinct voices.

Elsewhere on MAD—which was preceded by singles including “If I Stop Now,” “Blow Up,” “Undefeated,” and the entrancing “25MIN Freestyle”— Gee continues to bolster his reputation as one of rap’s most honest writers, all while deploying increasingly intricate flows and showing off dazzling technical control. This starts from the very beginning: opening song “Pray You Die In Surgery” is both one of his most buoyant vocal performances to date and a slice of his most detail-oriented, unmistakable Louisville writing.

Prior to this project, EST Gee could most recently be heard on the soundtrack for CREED III, where he collaborated with Big Sean on the standout single “Anthem.” His last solo effort, I Never Felt Nunreached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and included guest appearances from Future, Jack Harlow, MGK, Bryson Tiller and Jeezy. It marked Gee’s second Top-10 appearance in 2022, considering it came shortly after his joint project with 42 Dugg on Last Ones Left debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.

Gee’s string of successful releases dates back to 2021, when his acclaimed mixtape, Bigger Than Life or Death, reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200, captured the No. 1 spot on Apple’s All-Genre chart and elevated his career to the next level.

The Louisville native reached a new career milestone in Oct. 2022, when he shined during his first-ever, nationally-televised performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards alongside Jeezy. He also delivered on his collaborations, cracking the Billboard Hot 100 with fiery verses on Future’s “CHICKENS” and Lil Baby’s “Back and Forth.”
