FEMTANYL SHARE NEW VIDEO SINGLE “HEAD UP” – OUT NOW

Digital hardcore duo femtanyl have just released their new single “HEAD UP” – out now alongside an accompanying music video. Inspired by the experimental rave music of the early 90s, “HEAD UP” is a glitchy, high-energy track meant to evoke dance-floor expression while celebrating a clash of energy and embracing a chaotic sonic identity –– a trait that has become synonymous with femtanyl and their music. The release of “HEAD UP” follows their early December single, “BODY THE PISTOL” (4M+ Streams), and serves as the second track in the rollout of their forthcoming debut album, MAN BITES DOG – out on Feb. 13. With the forthcoming album’s release, the duo will embark on a 19-date U.S. tour across February and April before making their festival debut at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound in June.

Founded in 2023, femtanyl, comprised of members Noelle (Vocals, production) and Juno (production, multi-instrumentalist), has quickly risen to notoriety for their breakneck pace and frantic, distorted soundscapes. They have slowly amassed a rabid online cult since the release of their 2024 breakout project REACTOR – which earned critical acclaim from Pitchfork (6.9) – and songs like “KATAMARI” (65M+ Streams), “GIRL HELL 1999” (50M+ Streams), and “PUSH UR T3MPRR” (42M+ Streams). Subsequent tour support for Machine Girl, their own sold-out headlining mini tour, and a run opening for Danny Brown on his Stardust Tour – after a collaboration on “1L0v3myL1f3!” – have led to femtanyl being recognized by Billboard in their annual Genre Now feature as one of “seven artists pushing their respective genres forward”, while amassing over 4 million monthly listeners and continuing to push the limits of good taste through their chaotic blend of Rave, Dance, and Punk sensibilities.
