Premiering November 30, +Life’s HIV Unwrapped World AIDS Day special, hosted by award-winning journalist Karl Schmid, takes viewers inside the first U.S. edition of HIV Unwrapped, a groundbreaking initiative blending science, fashion, and storytelling to spotlight HIV awareness at New York Fashion Week 2025. Through powerful runway moments, behind-the-scenes access, and intimate personal stories, the special highlights how creativity can dismantle stigma, bridge generations, and reimagine advocacy for the modern era.

HIV Unwrapped is a global storytelling initiative transforming public health narratives through fashion, creativity, and media. Through immersive design collaborations and curated programming, the platform champions the scientists, advocates, and individuals rewriting the future of HIV. Models and special guests included Javier Muñoz (Activist and Actor, Hamilton), Demetre Daskalakis (Former director of CDC’s Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases), Mary Gibson (Singer), Art Bezrukavenko (content creator) Mila Jam (Singer), John Friia (Host, Taxi TV), Jay Valle (NBC OUT), Lionel Moise (ABC News), Mark Mackillop (Broadway Bares) and more.
