Headie One Releases New Track from Upcoming Sophomore Album ‘The Last One’ and Excitingly Reveals Album Tracklist

Headie One, the Grammy-winning artist, has launched the third track, “Tipsy”, from his upcoming album, The Last One. This track, featuring British rapper Aitch, is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Contrasting the album’s more introspective themes, the track “Tipsy”, produced by Toddla T and Sammy SoSo, showcases Headie’s more playful side, as depicted in the accompanying video filmed in Marbella last month.

Unveiled earlier this week, The Last One’s tracklist boasts a robust lineup of British powerhouses, including Stormzy, D-Block Europe, Sampha, and Potter Payper, American R&B star Fridayy, and Nigerian artists Bnxn, Odumudoblxck, and Tay Iwar. The album also features the globally renowned producer Skrillex on “Make A W,” along with AJ Tracey and Grammy-winner BEAM. This lineup reflects Headie’s ambition to pay homage to the streets that shaped him and to reach a global audience.

The new album concludes Headie’s journey from The One mixtape to the present day, charting a path from pain and regret to growth and, ultimately, a fresh start and a new beginning. While he has touched on some of these topics and circumstances in previous projects, the lyrics on The Last One aim to delve deeper. The album artwork symbolizes the arrival at a destination where he now stands alone, liberated from the shackles of his past and on the brink of a new life.

Later in 2024 and into 2025, Headie will embark on a UK and European tour, performing four dates in November in the UK and Ireland, culminating in a grand homecoming show at OVO Arena Wembley. Following these dates, he will set off on a European tour in early 2025. He will also be performing his first-ever live shows in Australia with four dates this October, including Promiseland, where he’ll join a star-studded lineup including Asake, Miguel, Rema, and Tiwa Savage.
