Houston Rockets Dominate Chicago Bulls 143-107 in One-Sided Victory

After a tough road loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Chicago Bulls were hoping to bounce back at home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, against the Houston Rockets. However, those hopes quickly faded as the Rockets dominated the Bulls in a 143-107 blowout at the United Center.

The game started with a slow pace, as both teams struggled offensively. The Bulls shot 47.8% from the field, while the Rockets shot just 38.5%. By the end of the first quarter, Houston held a slim 27-26 lead. But at the 7:37 mark of the second quarter, the Rockets exploded offensively, turning a 36-36 tie into a commanding 68-52 halftime lead.

Fred VanVleet, Alperen Şengün, and Jabari Smith Jr. led the Rockets’ charge, contributing to a 32-point surge that stretched the lead to 16 points by the break. The Rockets also dominated in the paint, outscoring the Bulls 40-14 in that area. The Bulls’ hopes for a turnaround quickly faded as Houston maintained control through the second half.
