Isaiah Firebrace releases his new single “You” through Sony Music Australia/RCA Records.
Since emerging on TV screens back in 2016 winning The X Factor Australia and going on to grace the global stage at the 2017 Eurovision Song Content where he placed 9th, Isaiah Firebrace has become the most-streamed Indigenous male pop artist in Australian history, an incredible feat for the 21-year-old Yorta Yorta man. After a few years tapping into his true self, Isaiah is back stronger than ever with his new single “You”.
Isaiah wrote “You” in LA with Grammy and APRA nominated writer Michael Fatkin and Peter Hanna. It’s a premise most are familiar with – when you aren’t with the right person and need to move on! The classic pop beat keeps the song uplifting and light hearted with the beautiful emotive essence we have come to love from the young singer shining through his soulful vocals.
Isaiah spent much of 2019 on his highly acclaimed 55-date Spirit and Beyond tour through regional and central Australia, speaking with Aboriginal school children and giving them positive messages of support and hope for a brighter future.
Following on from his internationally successful hit “What Happened to Us”, 2020 has seen Isaiah unmasked as The Wizard on the hugely popular Masked Singer Australia, release pop banger “Know Me Better” and continue his work with indigenous communities through virtual concerts.
There is more to come in 2021 from Isaiah Firebrace. As GQ eloquently noted earlier this year, “the sky seems the limit for a talent who’s already quietly made history.”
