JUNIOR H BECOMES THE FIRST LATIN ARTIST TO PERFOM IN SPOTIFY LIVE ROOM

JUNIOR H became the first Latin artist to perform in Spotify Live Room, bringing his musical proposal to a live format that connects directly with fans on a global level.

Powered by Spotify, Live Room invites artists to the platform’s Los Angeles studio to reimagine their music in a more intimate format, offering listeners a different kind of experience. The series has previously featured artists such as Zara Larsson, Kehlani, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, and Barry Can’t Swim, and now opens its space to Latin music with Junior H as its first representative.

During the session, the Mexican artist performed “DROGA LETAL” and “MI$ LLAMADA$,” two of the most representative tracks from his latest project DEPR</3$$ED MFKZ. The performance was accompanied by a 13-piece norteño band, a staging that reinforces the evolution of Mexican music toward broader and more ambitious formats.

The Spotify Live Room appearance comes at a key moment in JUNIOR H’s career. Less than a month after its release, DEPR</3$$ED MFKZ has accumulated more than 309 million streams on Spotify, establishing itself as one of the platform’s most-consumed projects globally.

This achievement adds to a year of sustained growth for the singer-songwriter, who continues expanding his reach within urban Mexican music. His ability to translate the Mexican sound to new audiences has been key in establishing him as one of the most relevant figures in the current movement.
