Pi’erre Bourne in Detroit at The Shelter
Written By | John Adamovicz
Friday night Pi’erre Bourne hit the city of Detroit as a part of his “The Life Of Pi’erre” Tour, for his new album release “The The Life Of Pi’erre 5”. The sold out show took place at the Detroit venue; The Shelter, a venue made famous by Eminem and featured in the movie 8 Mile.
Before the 27 year old producer turned rapper Jordan Timothy Jenks, professionally known as Pi’erre Bourne, hit the stage of his sold out show, the crowds energy was through the roof. The opening DJ rocked the crowd playing a mixture of hits from Future and Playboi Carti (many of the songs having been produced by Pi’erre himself) to upcoming Detroit artists like Sada Baby and Babyface Ray.

When it came time for Pi’erre to step on the stage, the whole crowd began to chant his famous producer tag “Yo Pi’erre, you wanna come out here?”! Playing a mix of his biggest hits such as “Poof” “Right Now” and songs off his latest album such as “Switching Lanes” and “Hulu”, the crowd knew every word and rapped along.
Meanwhile the venue could barely contain the crowd’s excitement as different groups moshed and danced. The smaller sized venue could barely contain the crowd and the front row was continuously pushed up onto the stage. At one point Pi’erre had to stop mid song and get the venue to help move the crowd back to give him room to perform. Once they got things under control the good vibes continued through the rest of the night.
