Lebra Jolie Unleashes Stunning New EP ‘What Was Said?

Houston-based rapper Lebra Jolie, signed to Interscope Records, has made a much-anticipated comeback with a fresh EP titled What Was Said? The project is a showcase of powerful rapping and impactful songs that signify the evolution of her craft. Catchy tracks like “Come Get Me”, “Risk It All”, and “Talk My Shit 4” are sure to resonate with listeners eager for a musical boost this summer.

What Was Said? also sees Jolie collaborating with an impressive roster of guest artists, including Saweetie, Skilla Baby, and BIA. Beyond the features, Jolie has worked with a diverse group of producers on the album, including Vega Heartbreak, DJ Chose, Southside Yoko, Pi’erre Bourne, and Derrick Milano. Jolie is also offering her fans a first glimpse of the revamped artist, whose decade-long journey culminates with the release of the new EP, inspiring them to chase their dreams. “I have a competitive spirit, and it’s rewarding to see the payoff after working on something for so long. Jolie has put in a tremendous amount of effort to reach this point in her career. After making a splash with her self-titled debut on Interscope Records in 2022, Jolie maintained momentum by releasing another project, The Pressure Pack, which highlighted the Houston native’s raw freestyle talent. She kept the energy flowing by releasing the BIA-assisted track “Yeah” from the new EP.

Prior to that, Jolie thrived on the independent scene, releasing three projects, Murder She Wrote, Brianna, and Now What, while also dropping a slew of singles and freestyles that attracted new fans with each release. Jolie has also collaborated with artists like Babyface Ray and Rob49, and has secured coveted features in iconic publications such as Billboard, Pitchfork, and Essence.
