LOLA YOUNG DROPS GRITTY NEW SINGLE “MONEY” VIA DAY ONE / CAPITOL RECORDS

Ahead of her highly anticipated project, My Mind Wanders And Sometimes Leaves Completely, arriving later this month, BRIT-nominated South London singer/songwriter Lola Young shares her new single “Money” via Day One / Capitol Records.

With the overflow of fluttering guitar melodies and a hip-hop-influenced beat, “Money” narrates the story of how it looks when super-rich kids misspend their money. The track is stylized with frank lyricism, a signature Lola Young style form within her music.

“Money” serves as the third and final single to be released from Lola’s newest project, My Mind Wanders And Sometimes Leaves Completely, due to come out on May 26th. Fully stepping out of her comfort zone with this project, Lola tests her writing ability to confront new topics, while mining new depths of her creativity. As Lola explores topics such as love bombing, gaslighting, body image, depression, and more with My Mind Wanders And Sometimes Leaves Completely, she begins to learn more about herself and mark a new era for herself. “It’s my journey towards being a woman and figuring out who I am,” Lola says when speaking about her upcoming project.
