Luhh Dyl Delivers a Dispatch From “Da Realest” Tour For His Latest ATH² Video

Rising rapper Luhh Dyl sets himself apart with his tasteful ear for production, combining the sounds of his hometown of Detroit with gentle acoustic guitars and chirruping vocal samples. The 22-year-old artist releases the video for “Tour Life,” a highlight from his new album A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH²).

Built around producer Hardheaded‘s dramatic string flourishes, underlaid with thumping Michigan percussion, “Tour Life” sets Dyl’s self-reflections aside in favor of a outlandish flexes, as the young rapper unleashes a barrage of boasts about how his life has changed for the better since his rap career started taking off: “I was born half goat, half man/And the G in my book stand for go-getter/And the O stand for, ‘Oh, he a cold n****’/And the A stand for A-plus ho hitter,” he smirks. The video delivers scenes from Dyl’s recent stint as direct support on Babyfxce E’s “Da Realest Tour, which ended earlier this week with a show in New York City, alternating scenes of Dyl rocking the mic with behind-the-scenes shots, including clips of his nasty basketball crossover and shots of his glistening jewelry.

Divided into two halves, A Time To Hurt and A Time To Heal, the 21-track ATH² digs deep into Dyl’s efforts to overcome his trauma, dealing with his emotional pain and choosing to find the joy in life amid the hurt. Aided by regular producers like HardheadedLQTheBanker, and Bugg, plus high-profile new collaborators like HelluvaPooh BeatzTNTxD, and A-Lau, Dyl cultivates a sound that mixes acoustic instrumentation with thumping Michigan bass, creating a contemplative, yet propulsive background that fits his introspective lyricism. The album is home to Dyl’s acclaimed singles like the Helluva-produced “Rollin With Me,” and “Still Having Problems,” a collaboration with NoCap, and the standout posse cut “New Edition” ft. Babyfxce E, Luh Tyler, and 1Up Tee. With an additional guest appearance from Lihtz on the emotional intro “A Momma’s Prayer” and from internet sensation Shiloh Dynasty on “Way It Goes,” A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH²) is available on all platforms via 300 Ent.

A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH²) is the follow-up to Hear My Cry, Luhh Dyl’s October 2025 album, anointed by Pitchfork as one of the Best Rap Albums of 2025. Dyl kept the momentum from his critically acclaimed album, and his collabs with the likes of VeezeTee Grizzley, and Lil Tony Official, going into 2026: In January, Complex named him one of the Rappers To Watch in 2026.
