Luhh Dyl Turns Up in “South Beach” With His New Single and Music Video

21-year-old Detroit native Luhh Dyl is building a strong reputation with his dense lyricism and eclectic taste in instrumentals. Returning with his first new single since May’s A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH²), the often-contemplative rapper cuts loose on “South Beach,” his new single and music video. Avoiding the acoustic guitar-driven instrumentals that marked his recent album, “South Beach” is a high-octane trap anthem, with booming 808s and space-age synths. Dyl weaves between the walking bassline with flexes about his favorite ways to spend his growing bankroll: “Don’t pat me down, I just bought two straps/Didn’t even touch my advance, that’s facts,” he spits. In the video, the young rapper shares footage from his NYC stop on “Da Realest Tour” in direct support of Babyfxce E. “South Beach” follows Dyl’s recent video for “Tour Life,” an ATH² highlight.
