MARFA ILLUSTRATES SLOW-BURN LOVE WITH NEW SONG “A MILLION WAYS”
The duo’s newest track unfolds in slow motion, blending intimate harmonies with their signature 70s-inspired warmth
Americana-Rock duo Marfa continues to build steady momentum heading into 2026 with the release of new song “A Million Ways,” out now via Ascend Music. On “A Million Ways,” Marfa paints love in soft motion, capturing fleeting moments that feel suspended in time. Written by Bryce Menchaca and Kellen Wall, the track is a slow-burn love song that moves between longing and desire while circling the idea that there may be a million ways to say “I love you,” yet only one that matches the depth of a real connection. Wrapped in hazy harmonies and set against Marfa’s warm 70s glow, it feels intimate, dreamy, and quietly addictive.
“‘A Million Ways’ came about when Kellen and I were tired of writing about ex-girlfriends and hard times,” says Bryce Menchaca. “It’s a real love song with the sounds of 70s storytelling. I’m going steady in my relationship and it’s going well, so we thought we’d sing about love for once.”
The buzz around Marfa has continued to build throughout 2025, fueled by early tastemaker support, rising radio play, and a rapidly expanding national fanbase. Westword recently named them Best Breakout Folk Duo of 2025, and KCRW featured “Little Miss Two Time” on Today’s Top Tune. At radio, fan favorite “Daisy” continues its climb, currently at #4 at Americana and rising at AAA. The duo also landed in HITS Daily Double’s coveted New & Developing roundup for Q4 2025 alongside fast-rising artists like Olivia Dean, Katseye, Audrey Hobert, Zach John King, Dalton Davis, and more.
After supporting acts including The Head and The Heart, Southall and The Mavericks on tour this fall, Marfa will round out the year with two final shows alongside Kashus Culpepper. They’ll open 2026 on home turf with a headline date at Colorado’s Bluebird Theater. Tickets are on sale now via www.marfabandofficial.com/tour
With “A Million Ways,” Marfa uncovers a softer, more romantic dimension of their sound while holding onto the raw honesty, melodic conviction, and road-worn soul that defines them. Added to their growing catalog of classic-meets-contemporary standouts, it affirms their momentum as one of the genre’s most compelling emerging voices heading into 2026.
