MARIAH CAREY CELEBRATES 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF HER ICONIC HIT “ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU” AND MERRY CHRISTMAS ALBUM WITH SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY RELEASES

The Queen of Christmas and best-selling female artist of all time, Mariah Carey, celebrates the 30th anniversary of her iconic Merry Christmas album and three decades of her record-breaking holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” with a special anniversary release.  

Fans can celebrate the magic of the season with special anniversary editions of her timeless hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” available now in 7”, 12”, cassette, and CD single formats featuring festive bonus tracks. The new Digital Deluxe Anniversary Edition of the Merry Christmas album expands the celebration further with the remastered St. John the Divine concert, “Hero” from the same performance (streaming for the first time), and the “Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)” Video Version, also available now.

Other upcoming Merry Christmas album editions to be released December 13 include a zoetrope vinyl pressing of Merry Christmas with animated visual effects, a 2LP Deluxe Edition featuring a 24-page photo booklet chronicling Mariah’s Christmas journey, a special Mariah Christmas card, and a newly remastered version of her iconic 1994 St. John the Divine concert on Disc 2. Additionally, Merry Christmas will get an audiophile treatment for the first time – Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi), a leader in high-fidelity audio reissues, will release the album in three formats all sourced from the original master tapes: a Hybrid SACD, a numbered-edition 180g 45RPM 2LP, and a numbered-edition UltraDisc One-Step 180g 33RPM LP.
