MARTIN GARRIX TEAMS UP WITH ARIJIT SINGH TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE “WEIGHTLESS”
Multiplatinum selling, chart topping Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix and the global music sensation from India, the most followed artist in the world on Spotify, Arijit Singh teamed up to release new single “Weightless” via Garrix’s label STMPD RCRDS.
On “Weightless” Garrix has created a hypnotizing, flowing beat set against Arijit Singh’s exceptional vocal talent. The accompanying music video directed by Bijoy Shetty illustrates a message of teamwork and trust in community; how we are weightless together.
“Weightless” marks the second release from the duo, as “Angels for Each Other” was released last month. The song marked the first time Garrix ever sang on his own track. Garrix & Singh performed the song live at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, later releasing a concert video of the performance.
Next up, Garrix will be the first ever artist to perform three nights at L.A State Historic Park in June. He immediately sold-out 40,000 tickets for two shows & added the third due to high demand. This will be the first time Garrix has played in LA since 2016. Adding to his highly sought after shows, Garrix recently sold out two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO for October. Just last month Martin Garrix headlined at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, closing out Sunday night with another electrifying set.
2024 marked an incredible year for Garrix, who was fearless experimenting with his ever expanding sound. He released his EP “IDEM,” a brand new-live closing song “Wherever You Are,” his summer anthem “Smile” featuring Carolina Liar, and “Told You So” which earned Garrix the No.1 spot on the Billboard Dance Chart. Most recently, Garrix made history by becoming the number 1 DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 for the fifth time.
