MOROCCAN-BORN R&B SINGER ABIR DELIVERS HER NEW EP ‘THE TIP-OFF’
Moroccan-born, US-raised singer ABIR makes a powerful return with her latest 3-track EP The Tip Off, out now via EMPIRE. The project features the previously released fan favorites “Butterflies” and “Made 4 U,” and introduces the stunning new focus track “Something Real”.
Produced by Grammy-winning, multi-platinum producer NES (Bryson Tiller, Drake, Snoh Aalegra, 6LACK, GoldLink), “Something Real” is a stunning Arab-influenced R&B record that finds ABIR at her most honest. On the track, she confronts her fear of intimacy and the desire to let love in.
ABIR shares, “The Tip Off EP is about the beginning of love. The butterflies, trusting in divine alignment, and the challenge of not folding when real love asks more of you. ‘Something Real’ was a turning point for me. It came from realizing that if I wanted something deep, I had to unlearn the fearful ways I used to protect myself. These songs are about softening, surrendering, and fully diving in, even when uncomfortable. Vulnerability was the only way I could grow.”

Born in Fez, Morocco, and raised in Virginia, the Los Angeles-based singer first broke through with her gold-certified hit “Finest Hour” and her debut EP Mint.
