MULTI-TALENTED SINGER/SONGWRITER LIAMANI RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO “HANGING BY A THREAD”
16-year-old singer, songwriter, and actress Liamani unveils an unshakable and undeniable new single and music video entitled “Hanging By A Thread” out now via Def Jam Recordings.
Steady claps set the tempo for the track as a warm bassline thumps like a heartbeat. Against this breezy backdrop, Liamani flaunts her vocal fireworks once again, alternating between breathy verses and a dynamic crescendo. Thematically, she wrestles with the uncertainty of a turbulent relationship. The emotion overflows on a chantable chorus, “Cuz we’re hanging by a thread, but I’m still holding on to you…Every story has to end, but I don’t want it to be true.”
Liamani capped off a busy 2024 with “Beso De Sol (Sunkissed)”—the Spanish version of her previously released debut single “Sunkissed”. On this stunning recording, she embraced her Puerto Rican, Mexican and Salvadoran heritage. She has only continued to turn heads this year. New music comes on the heels of her recent announcement about being added to the cast of the Disney branded television franchise Descendants. Prior, GAP tapped her to front its 2024 Holiday campaign. Moreover, she counts Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, and Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men among her early and ardent supporters.
