MUSIC ICON J BALVIN AND RYAN CASTRO TEAR UP THE SUMMER WITH NEW SINGLE “NIVEL DE PERREO”

Global superstar and entrepreneur, J Balvin, has teamed with fellow Reggaeton powerhouse, Ryan Castro, for a new hot summer single, “Nivel de Perreo”. The chart-topping Colombian artists take the Reggaeton genre to a new level with this collaboration as they showcase their ability to get any crowd pumped up and ready to dance.

“Nivel de Perreo,” a must-have addition to the ultimate playlist, expertly combines Reggaeton and rap to elicit a fiery energy that is palpable the moment the beat starts. 

“We’re both two kids from Medellin, Colombia, and any time I’m able to work with someone who shares my roots and passion for music is such a gift,” said Balvin. “We both love making music that lights up a crowd so the concept for the song and video came about naturally because we both had the same goal in mind – to get everyone headed to the dance floor!”

The music video, shot in Jackson Heights, Queens, also known as “Little Colombia,” sets the stage for a colorful and steamy Summer in New York City. Directed by Patricia Alfonso and Chris Cabrera, along with Film Heads, the video expertly brings the music to life. From rooftop cookouts, to the corner store, and underground dance parties, the guerrilla-style music video is a spirited reflection of Colombian culture in that, given the right song, every place can transform into a dance floor. With hordes of New York City fans gathered around during filming, Balvin and Castro wasted no time jumping in with the crowds and incorporating them into the action. In keeping with the vibrant backdrop of “Little Colombia,” Balvin and Castro were clad in Jordan Brand apparel from Balvin’s second collaboration with the brand which will launch this September.
