MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE SHARE NEVER-BEFORE-RELEASED “SOMEONE OUT THERE LOVES YOU (LIVE FROM HOBOKEN)”
One week ahead of the highly anticipated release of The Black Parade (20th Anniversary) expanded reissue, My Chemical Romance are sharing the bonus track and video “Someone Out There Loves You (Live from Hoboken)”. Captured during the original album tour at the band’s hometown club Maxwell’s, in New Jersey,, in New Jersey in 2007, the never before released song embodies the fiery spirit of that monumental era. Out October 23 via Reprise Records.
In addition to next week’s deluxe album release, My Chemical Romance are throwing a historic grand finale for the U.S. leg of their critically acclaimed The Black Parade 2026 Tour with a five-night stint at the Hollywood Bowl — something no other artist has accomplished. My Chemical Romance have also teamed with Hot Topic for a monthlong The Black Parade 20th Anniversary Takeover — with exclusive merch, limited giveaways, and rare photo ops — that will culminate in a global all-store listening party on Friday, October 23, when the album is released. The store’s Hollywood location, which has been completely transformed into an immersive The Black Parade experience, will stay open until 1 a.m. on Hollywood Bowl nights.
The Black Parade (20th Anniversary) celebrates two decades of a towering work that has since been RIAA-certified 4x Platinum, ranked among Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” and inspired fans and artists across generations and genres. The release includes the full album plus six bonus tracks — two more from the Hoboken show, otherwise unreleased on LP, CD, or streaming, and three fan-favorite B-sides previously scattered across older releases.
My Chemical Romance shares – “Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record and the follow up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. At the time, we could never have imagined what the record would mean for the band. All we knew is that we had made something crazy, and something we couldn’t wait to get it out into the world… For the first time, we have included everything we finished during those sessions in a single collection.”
Working with original The Black Parade cover artist James Jean to reimagine the album’s iconic imagery, the band is serving up a slew of limited vinyl colorways and autographed physical formats available now at the My Chemical Romance store, though many have already sold out. The Black Parade Tour has also grown the album’s indelible universe. A theatrical production complete with costumes, characters, additional performers, stage design, and pyrotechnics, the show is divided into two parts. The first, set in the fictional authoritarian world of Draag, sees the band performing The Black Parade from front to back. The second takes place on a B-stage as they play beloved songs from throughout their career. All told — after launching in the summer of 2025 — the global tour has logged a total attendance of 1,895,000 fans and counting.
