Myke Towers continues to solidify his position as one of Latin music’s most prominent figures with “Soleao”, his collaboration with Spanish artist Quevedo. The track has become a true summer anthem on both sides of the Atlantic, dominating Billboard’s top Latin radio charts in the U.S.

This week, “Soleao” reached the No. 1 position simultaneously on the Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay, and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts, confirming the song’s genre-crossing and global appeal. With this achievement, “Soleao” becomes Myke’s 18th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart. Last week, the song had already hit No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay, marking his 16th No. 1 on that chart. With this triple chart-topping performance, the hit reaffirms Towers’ dominance on Latin radio and his powerful connection with listeners.

“Soleao” is part of Island Boyz, Towers’ new 23-track album that explores the Caribbean essence of his artistry through reggaetón, dancehall, dembow, Latin R&B, and afrobeats. Since its release, the album has been praised for both its sonic diversity and cohesive narrative. Island Boyz debuted at No. 2 on Spotify’s global debut albums chart and has remained one of the most streamed albums in Spain for consecutive weeks.

The music video for “Soleao,” shot in Fajardo, Puerto Rico near Isla Palomino, has surpassed 15 million views on YouTube and authentically captures the Caribbean spirit that fuels the album. Directed by David Camarero, with creative direction by Vampire Studio (Pol Gago Guilera) and executive production by VampireFilms, the visual offers an intimate, unfiltered window into Towers’ creative world.

This achievement adds to a high-performing season for the artist, who is currently in the middle of his 2025 European tour, performing to sold-out stadiums and arenas in cities like Barcelona, Valencia, Pamplona, Paris, Zurich, London, and Ibiza. Last week, Towers also delivered a historic performance at La Velada del Año V in Seville, Spain, in front of 85,000 people and more than 7 million Twitch viewers—making it one of the most-watched events of the year.
