NATION RELEASES NEW VIDEO-SINGLE “LONGWAY TO TOMORROW”
The underground duo Nation, vocalist Fresh Jame and producer Funball, has released a new video single, “Longway to Tomorrow”. Filled with aching vocals and a swinging, wistful beat, Nation oscillates between pounding drums and synths on “Longway to Tomorrow.” Fresh Jame can’t shake someone, their “face still in the window, in the back of my mind,” and asks the clock to stall: “things will come and go baby, but I don’t want this moment to come and end.” This single follows the release of “Trouble Walks”, continuing a run that finds them heading out across North America in support of LUCY (Cooper B. Handy) at the end of October.
Nation follows a packed summer with “Longway to Tomorrow.” In June, the duo released Nation 2 (Remixes), built from stems of their 13-track sophomore project, Nation 2, which they handed to producers including Varg™ and DJ Stingray. Evanora Unlimited then tapped them to open a run of European shows. Earlier this month, they shared “Trouble Walks,” a video single of glitched-out electroclash drums and euphoric synths, and joined Snow Strippers for seven Florida dates alongside evilgiane and hopper1000. The LUCY (Cooper B. Handy) tour opens October 30th at Milky’s in Los Angeles and wraps November 15th at Cactus Club in Milwaukee.
