NEWCOMER J AIRA BURNS RELEASES DEBUT EP BURN SLOW
Singer-Songwriter Will Join Singer Poppy on Tour This Fall
Charismatic singer-songwriter Jaira Burns (Upscale Music Group/Interscope Records) has just released her impressive debut EP, Burn Slow. Filled with the angst and edge that fans have come to expect, the 8-track project also showcases the young star’s range; flowing effortlessly between fiery up-tempo tracks and driving pop ballads. The EP highlights the soulful quality of Jaira’s distinct voice, as heard in previously-teased singles, “OKOKOK,” “Sugarcoat,” “Burn Slow” and “Low Key in Love”. Featuring production by Stargate, Andrew Goldstein and executive produced by Ryghteous Ryan (Ariana Grande/Wiz Khalifa), the EP is now available at all digital retailers.
The release continues an exciting run for the 21-year-old Pennsylvania native who was recently included in Paper Magazine’s list of “100 Women Revolutionizing Pop”. Her summer lineup kicked off in June with performances at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and the Firefly Music Festival. She will play Bud Light’s Lollapalooza Dive Bar Show on Sunday, August 5before commencing a week of promo in New York City. Jaira will also be heading out on tour with recording artist, Poppy, beginning October 25 in Portland.
