ONEREPUBLIC RELEASES NEW SINGLE “INVINCIBLE (FROM KAIJU NO.8)”

GRAMMY® nominated pop-rock band, OneRepublic, released their new single “Invincible (from Kaiju No.8)” alongside the official music video which was shot in Japan.

Following the success of OneRepublic’s “Nobody (Kaiju No. 8 ED theme)” – the very first international song specially written to be a Japanese anime ending theme song – the band has returned to write “Invincible (from Kaiju No.8)” for a special episode of Kaiju No. 8. The song is about how even though there may be times where things feel tumultuous, we can also simultaneously feel unstoppable. The single is for “Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon”, a special new original episode focused on one of the anime’s most popular characters, Hoshina. The episode was screened in theaters through April 16th and the show’s second season will premiere in July 2025.

The music video for the song captures scenes of OneRepublic performing the single as a surprise at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo in January 2025. The very next day the band completed the music video in cafes and streets throughout Tokyo.
