OWEN SAWARD RELEASES EP ‘CHAPTER 1: BELIEF’ FT NEW SINGLE ‘FLOWERS’

 

Owen Saward’s debut EP titled “Chapter 1: Belief” has been announced accompanied by an official music video and fan favourite, “Flowers”.

 

Hailing from Hertfordshire, rising artist Owen Saward seamlessly fuses the nostalgia of early 2000s R&B with a distinctive, soul-infused sound. Opening track “Flowers” sets the tone, striking a delicate balance between timeless influence and modern flair. “Baby, can’t you see all those things I gave you,” he sings – an impassioned plea for love that lays bare his emotional depth and vulnerability. With “He Won’t,” Owen steps into the role of the empathetic observer, offering comfort and contrast as he positions himself as the better lover – a nod to both his musical influences and pop icons like N*SYNC. His current single, “I Swear,” is charged with raw emotion, posing the poignant question, “Are you with me for all the right things?”—a moving exploration of loyalty and love. Meanwhile, “Ransom” showcases Owen’s versatility, weaving together elements of funk, boom-bap, reggae, and R&B. His signature vocal flourishes glide through the track, delivering a performance that’s both deliberate and captivating.

 

Crafted by a tightly woven team inclusive of renowned producer Diztortion (Sean Paul, Tion Wayne, NSG), songwriter Carson Hayes, and Tevin Crescent, Owen explores the medium of love further, now aligned with his bespoke team of architects.
