Rapper and producer Pi’erre Bourne brought his Good Movie tour to Chicago’s House of Blues. He was accompanied by fellow Sosshouse crew artists Chavo and Sharc to open the show. This is Pi’erre’s second time in Chicago this year, his first time being back in July for a Lollapolooza after-show at Lincoln Hall which he happened to sellout. That show surely secured some popularity for the artist in the windy city since this time around he was performing at a nearly packed venue twice the size as the last.

Pi’erre Bourne gained notoriety around 2017 when producing beats for Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage and other similar artists. With hits like “Magnolia” and “Gummo” Bourne was becoming a well known name in the industry. Today he is way more than just a producer, he is pursuing and rapidly growing his career as a rapper. Currently his most popular songs are “Drunk and Nasty” featuring Sosshouse artist Sharc and “Switching Lanes” featuring Playboi Carti.

Pi’erre Bourne is currently promoting his most recent album on this tour, “Good Movie.” Which released at the beginning of this month (September 2022). The album is produced solely by Bourne himself with features from Don Toliver and Young Nudy. The world tour started in Houston Texas and is running till October in North America before continuing to Europe and then Australia and New Zealand.

There was only a short wait from when doors opened to the when the first artist came out. The tour Dj set the vibe as people piled into the venue.

Chavo came out first to warm up the crowd. Warm up being an understatement to how hyped the crowd got to Chavos performance.

Immediately after Chavo’s set, Sharc came to the stage. Sharc took the show to another level with his high energy performance. Mosh Pits and crowd surfing are definitely staples to a Sharc performance.

Pi’erre came on stage at around eight at night, the crowd roared when he walked on to stage. He performed the songs off his recent album along with some of his hits. After talking to some of his fans at the end of the show it is safe to say, Pi’erre Bourne is not an artist you want to miss if he’s in your city.
