Platinum-selling Flint rapper Rio Da Yung OG is back with a new chapter as he unveils the official video for “Finna Drop (Tour)”, the first taste of his highly anticipated new album, The World Is Yours, arriving September 11th.
Shot around Rio’s current 26-date 2026 U.S. World Is M.I.N.E. Tour, the new visual captures the Flint native in his element as he moves through the country, bringing the energy of his hometown with him. Much of The World Is Yours was recorded around the tour, following his massive 62-date Welcome Home Tour in 2025, making the album a reflection of Rio’s life in constant motion and the undeniable momentum he has built since returning home.
Built on a sinister, bass-heavy Michigan beat, “Finna Drop (Tour)” finds Rio in his element, casually rapping about money, designer clothes, and women with the cool, matter-of-fact delivery that has become a signature of his style. He moves through the flexes with an almost unbothered, deadpan attitude, making even the most outrageous lines sound completely casual. At one point, he sums up the whole approach with, “I make music for the soul, it’s gonna make you laugh.” It’s a snapshot of what makes Rio so distinct: effortless shit-talking, dark humor, unpredictable writing, and heavy Flint production.
