Preseason Week 3 – Vikings at Broncos

The Minnesota Vikings travel to face the Denver Broncos to close the preseason on Saturday, Aug. 27. The matchup, which is the second consecutive season that the clubs have faced off in the preseason, is set to kickoff at 8 p.m. CT at Empower Field at Mile High and will be broadcast on FOX 9, pairing with the radio broadcast on KFAN 100.3-FM, which features Paul Allen, Pete Bercich and Ben Leber on the call. In Week 2 of the preseason against the 49ers, DL T.Y. McGill, Jr., tallied his second-consecutive game with 1.5 or more sacks in a game. McGill leads the NFL in the preseason with 3.5 sacks through two games. Rookie fourth-round pick CB Akayleb Evans, who is tied for second on the team in total tackles (nine), tallied nine total tackles against the 49ers and forced a fumble. Offensively, the Vikings average 4.83 rushing yards per play, the sixth-most in the NFL through the first two preseason games.
