PRETTY SICK SHARES NEW ALBUM ANARCHY – VIA DIRTY HIT

NYC bassist, vocalist, and NYC indie darling Pretty Sick (AKA Sabrina Fuentes) has released her sophomore project Anarchy – out now via Dirty Hit. Across ten tracks, Fuentes pulls shoegaze, witch house, grunge, and club-facing electronics into vignettes about the jadedness she sees in both herself and the people around her. Fuentes and producer Oscar Scheller (Lily Allen, PinkPantheress) wrote the title track and final single “Anarchy” first, setting the tone for the nine songs that followed: a slowed, syrupy beat under a vocal moving from sardonic and melancholic in the same lyric. Taunt “they tell me it would be anarchy” is backed by “I got angels in my mind”, shining a spotlight on Pretty Sick’s eye for prose and the sublime. Fuentes takes the project on the road on November 1st in Washington, D.C., with the rest of the country to follow.

Fuentes first opened the Anarchy run in 2025 with “Star”, announced the project in June with “home2hide” (co-produced by Scheller and Frost Children), shared “UrNewImTrue” on July 8th as well as “Hyper Independence” – she even landed an HBO placement with her song “Human Condition” in the second episode of Lanterns. Producer Oscar Scheller cut the bulk of the record with Fuentas in Los Angeles, her longest run with one producer since Paul Kolderie (Pixies, Radiohead) on 2022’s Makes Me Sick Makes Me Smile, as well as Swedish producer Woesum (Yung Lean, Bladee) made 2024’s Streetwise EP. Her 22-date US headlining run starts November 1st at The Atlantis in Washington, D.C., and closes December 2nd in Durham, NC.
