Qendresa Appears on New Drake Album’s ‘Habibti’ + ‘Maid Of Honour,’ Featured Vocalist on “Slap The City”

One of the UK’s most exciting R&B artist and producer, North-West London’s Qendresa (pronounced: Chen-Dre-Sa), is credited across four tracks on Drake’s surprise companion albums Habibti and Maid of Honour, released alongside Iceman earlier today via OVO Sound/Republic Records.

Qendresa appears as a featured artist on Habibti’s “Slap The City,” and contributes vocals to “Gen 5”, “Fort Worth” ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR, and “Stuck” from Maid of Honour. Spanning across both projects, her contributions offer a connective thread throughout Drake’s latest releases, underscoring a creative relationship built quietly over time and cementing her position as a multidimensional, in-demand talent with unmistakable vocal textures, songwriting sensibilities, and production instincts.

The albums are part of Drake’s surprise triple-release rollout for Iceman, a 43-track body of work featuring Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, Molly Santana, Popcaan, and more, placing Qendresa among a select group of featured artists across the trilogy.

The credits follow her recent double single, “Rain In July” / “Be the One,” released earlier this month via Dream City Discs. The dual single premiered as an anime and comics-inspired visual directed by Sofire and animated by Liffia, adding another chapter to the immersive world Qendresa has built across past releases Midnight Request Line and Londra.

The Drake connection, while new to the public, has been years in the making. OVO Radio and Sound42 have long supported Qendresa’s music, with Drake reaching out directly earlier this year to begin collaborating. “Slap The City” marked their first session together and remains one of her personal favorites.

“OVO Radio and Sound42 have been so supportive of my music, so hearing from Drake himself was a really special moment — so many summers soundtracked to Drake. ‘Slap The City’ was the very first song we collaborated on and one of my personal favourites. He is a generational artist and brilliant A&R, and I’m very grateful to be part of it all across both Habibti and Maid Of Honour.”

Long championed as an artist’s artist within underground circles, Qendresa continues to carve out a singular lane through emotionally raw songwriting, self-produced electronic soul and a highly intentional sonic identity. Known for her diaristic lyricism and unflinching delivery, she has quietly become an influential figure bridging club-distilled production with deeply personal writing, earning co-signs from the likes of Lil Yachty and The Deftones. Her contributions across Habibti and Maid of Honour reflect the kind of artist she has steadily become: singular, collaborative, and increasingly impossible to overlook.
