QUADECA RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ALBUM VANISHER, HORIZON SCRAPER

Producer, singer, rapper, and visual artist Quadeca has officially released his heavily anticipated album, Vanisher, Horizon Scraper, via his independent label X8 Music, accompanied by an album film. The project marks the creative maverick’s fifth studio album and ushers in the most ambitious chapter of his career. The 14-track opus also includes features from long-time collaborator Danny Brown and UK-based experimental rock figure stones Maruja. Quadeca first revealed the new project’s title during his performance with Kevin Abstract at last year’s Coachella Music Festival.

Quadeca first previewed the project with “GODSTAINED,” a high-energy, bossa nova-influenced rap track that builds from ambient textures and Brazilian percussion into a chaotic, orchestral climax. He continued building anticipation with his second single, “MONDAY,”—a sweeping, cinematic ballad driven by classical piano, flute, and strings, portraying the emotional journey of a lone sailor learning to move on—which also marked the announcement of his 2025 Vanisher, Horizon Scraper fall tour. Most recently, he released “FORGONE,” an eight-minute spiritual epic that unfolds with gospel harmonies, choral vocals, and meditative piano, culminating in a majestic crescendo. Each single offers a sharp contrast to the next—demonstrating Quadeca’s genre-blurring vision and his ability to fuse disparate styles into a cohesive, emotionally resonant body of work. Quadeca also served as executive producer and a featured artist on Kevin Abstract’s latest album, BLUSH, released through X8 Music and Juno.

Earlier this week, Quadeca hosted two sold out film premieres for the album’s visual component at New York’s Nitehawk Cinema and Los Angeles’ Brain Dead Studios, where fans lined up around the block to get a first look at the project. Directed by and starring Quadeca himself, the film expands on the project’s sailor theme, weaving together his previously released music videos with new footage shot on the island of Camiguin in the Philippines. The visual journey opens with a surreal still shot of Quadeca alone in a golden field, standing beside massive sails flowing in the wind before he sets off on his voyage. Through striking clips of him performing songs from the album while navigating the sea and overcoming obstacles, the film fully unveils the universe Quadeca built around Vanisher, Horizon Scraper.

Additionally, Quadeca will kick off his 31-show Vanisher, Horizon Scraper fall tour onSeptember 30th in San Francisco, with stops in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Houston, before wrapping up the North American run on November 7th in Los Angeles. European tour dates will begin on December 7th in Berlin,with stops in Amsterdam, London, and Glasgow, before wrapping up in Dublin on December 15th.For more information and ticket purchasing please visit: https://www.x8-music.com/tour

Vanisher, Horizon Scraper is a modern apocalyptic folklore about a man who sets sail alone in search of freedom but is unknowingly drifting toward destruction. Guided only by the wind, memories, and a crackling radio, his romanticized escape unravels as he loses control, becoming obsessed with the unreachable horizon. As the world succumbs to cataclysmic natural disasters, he finds himself at the center of myth and reality, witnessing the legendary sea serpent Bakunawa consume the moon. In his final moments, he grasps a piece of the horizon, triggering a world-ending tsunami—embracing both terror and fulfillment as he vanishes into the waves
