Building on the success of his RIAA® Gold-certified breakout hit “BOO,” Louisiana rapper H3adband unleashes his new EP BANDBOY via WatchDatBaby Records / Hitmaker Music Group. The project arrives alongside the official music video for “EXOTIC”.
BANDBOY captures H3adband stepping beyond his breakout moment and further into the personality, confidence and energy that have made him one of Louisiana’s most promising new voices. Across tracks including “GROOVY,” “JUST RAPPING,” “MOVE YOUR BODY,” “YELLA,” “LATELY,” “HOW IT FEEL” and “BLUEPRINT,” he moves between hard-hitting street records, animated flexes and melodic moments, expanding the sound and personality behind his rapid rise.
“EXOTIC” brings that confidence front and center. Over hypnotic, bass-heavy production, H3adband’s elastic delivery and animated ad-libs drive a record centered on status, access and the lifestyle accompanying his ascent. Anchored by the declaration “I’m like that,” the song captures the charisma and attitude at the core of H3adband’s music.
The EP follows a breakthrough run for H3adband, whose “BOO” earned RIAA® Gold certification and reached No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 19 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 8 on Emerging Artists, while also reaching No. 1 on TikTok’s Top 50 for five consecutive weeks. He has since surpassed 100 million career streams, earned recognition as a 2026 XXL Freshman nominee, and garnered support from major names including Boosie Badazz, who joined H3adband on the remix to “Dat Sound,” DaBaby, and IShowSpeed.
