Scarlip Ignites the Scene with New Summer Single, “She’s Hot
Emerging from NYC, the rising star ScarLip debuts her dynamic new single and accompanying music video, “She’s Hot”. This lively party anthem blends the raw nostalgia of ScarLip’s previous work with her distinctive charisma and knack for creating electrifying choruses. While “She’s Hot” is a nod to the upcoming summer, it also aptly describes the current trajectory of ScarLip’s career, which is on a hot streak.
Even though summer hasn’t officially started, there’s no doubt that ScarLip will leave her mark. The “She’s Hot” video, filled with retro scenes of bursting fire hydrants, Belly-inspired party scenes, and unique 2000s fashion, is designed to set the tone for the season. Despite its visual appeal, “She’s Hot” remains a testament to what sets ScarLip apart: her lyrical skill, confidence, and delivery.
Since her explosive entrance in 2023 with the viral hit “This Is New York” (which has garnered over five million views), ScarLip has been recognized as a torchbearer for the upcoming generation of female rappers. She has since showcased her range and adaptability, collaborating with a diverse array of artists from Swizz Beatz to NLE Choppa, and releasing notable singles like the street anthem “No Statements” and the Choppa-assisted “Blick.”
ScarLip recently achieved viral success once again with the freestyle “Have u seen my boyfriend?”, a track that expands on her viral TikTok narratives. Released in April, ‘Boyfriend’ deviates slightly from her usual style, has already surpassed one million streams, and offers fans a new facet of the Bronx native to enjoy.

Adding to her early 2024 momentum, ScarLip features on the official soundtrack for Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, the fourth installment of the blockbuster movie series starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, with her solo track, “Mike T.” This news follows shortly after ScarLip appeared on her first-ever magazine cover, Hello Beautiful.
