Shakira Concludes Record-Breaking 12-Date Residency at Mexico City’s GNP Seguros Stadium
Global superstar Shakira has officially made history, becoming the only artist in history to sell out 12 stadium concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City as part of her monumental Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour (#LMYNLWorldTour).
Shakira concluded her historic run of 12 shows at the iconic venue, on Thursday evening(September 18th). Addressing the audience of 56,000 fans on the final night, Shakira said:
“My last show in Mexico City. Truly, 12 concerts at GNP Stadium, not even in my wildest dreams. Thank you, because this wouldn’t have been possible without you. This has been a true gift that I will never forget.”
Cementing her status as the Queen of Latin Music, the record-breaking residency drew more than 780,000 fans in total, adding yet another groundbreaking chapter to her legendary career.
