Experimental pop artist Shygirl shares the Club Shy mix of her track “Poison,” which was originally released on her debut album Nymph, out now via Because Music. Alongside the reimagined version of “Poison”, produced by Danny L Harle, comes the distorted and hyperdelic visuals of Shygirl performing the song.

Inspired by how the track has been received by fans live, Shygirl wanted the new production to replicate some of the same energy the audience brought at the shows. The result does just that with Danny L Harle’s slick, additional production adding an extra punch to the already dancefloor-friendly original version bringing a heightened sense of bravado to this club-ready banger.

“Poison” (Club Shy mix) arrives on the heels of the announcement of Shygirl’s 2023 Nymph World Tour Pt. 1, including the North American leg of the tour. Beginning on March 15th in Vancouver, the 14-date run will include stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York City and Atlanta before wrapping up in Miami on April 15th. Before embarking on the North American dates, Shygirl will perform in Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris this year and will ring in 2023 with performances at Beyond the Valley and Field Day Festival in Australia. Tickets on sale now HERE.

Shygirl’s critically acclaimed debut album Nymph reveals her inner self-reflection in experimental vocal tones and deconstructed dance melodies exhibiting a new level of intimacy and emotional depth in her songwriting. Nymph includes the tracks “Shlut,” which arrived with a Diana Kunst-directed video, “Nike,” which premiered with a COLORS performance, “Coochie (a bedtime story)“, “Come For Me” and “Firefly,” which arrived with visuals directed by Yasser Abubeker. Pitchfork praised the album as, “a definitive collection of songs that builds upon what already makes the artist remarkable.”

Shygirl also starred in Calvin Klein’s recent Fall campaign and in Burberry’s AW21 presentation, claimed a coveted spot in Forbes’ 30 Under 30, graced the cover of multiple prestigious magazines including Office Magazine and V Magazine, and teamed up with Mura Masa to remix the Lady Gaga and Blackpink track “Sour Candy” for the praised Dawn of Chromatica album.
