SIMPLE PLAN CONTINUES CELEBRATING THEIR 25TH ANNIVERSARY BY ADDING PHILADELPHIA SHOW TO THEIR BIGGER THAN YOU THINK! TOUR

Iconic multi-platinum rock band Simple Plan announced an additional stop on their “Bigger Than You Think!” Tour in Philadelphia on August 30th.Tickets for the new show will be available starting with an Artist presale and a Citi presale beginning on Wednesday, June 11th at 10AM local. Live Nation presale begins on Thursday, June 12th at 10AM local and general on-sale begins on Friday, June 13th at 10AM local. Tickets available for the full tour here. Of today’s announcement, the band says “We’re super excited to announce that we are adding an extra date to our ‘Bigger Than You Think!’ US headline tour in Philadelphia, PA on August 30th.We’ve had so many awesome shows in Philly over the years and we couldn’t miss out on playing for all our fans in the City of Brotherly Love!”

Prior to today’s additional show announcement, the band recently revealed the title of their highly anticipated documentary is Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd. Coming this summer via Prime Video, the documentary will commemorate the band’s 25th anniversary pulling from archival footage. Fellow industry icons and close friends of the band including Avril Lavigne, Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus and The Offspring’s Dexter Holland & Noodles are set to appear in the documentary with new interviews.

2025 sees the band celebrating their landmark 25th anniversary with their biggest year yet, anchored by a career-spanning documentary on Amazon Prime Video, worldwide amphitheater and arena tours with Avril Lavigne and The Offspring and their most ambitious headlining trek in 25 years, the Bigger Than You Think! Tour with Bowling for Soup, 3OH!3, We the Kings, and LØLØ. In anticipation of the tour’s kickoff and the documentary’s release, the band shared “It’s gonna be a huge summer for us: we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary as a band by heading out on our first US headline tour in almost 10 years and releasing a documentary on our entire career on Prime Video. We can’t wait to share our story with all our fans and play for everyone all summer long!”

Simple Plan will donate $1 from each ticket sold on this tour to the Simple Plan Foundation. Established in 2005, the Simple Plan Foundation focuses on helping young people in need and showcasing the power of music as a tool to find purpose and direction in life. Since its inception the Simple Plan Foundation has donated over $2M to various charitable causes in Canada and has been awarded many prestigious distinctions for its philanthropic work.
