Soulful Duo NxWorries Unveil New Album ‘Why Lawd?
The dynamic duo of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge, known as NxWorries, have made a highly anticipated comeback with their second album, “Why Lawd?”. Now available on streaming platforms and in physical format, “Why Lawd?” is the follow-up to their 2016 cult favorite debut album, “Yes Lawd!”. Fans of their first album will find much to appreciate in this new release, which sees NxWorries exploring new musical landscapes. This includes Anderson .Paak’s skillfully delivered rap verses on “Battlefield”, the G-funk influenced production of “86Sentra”, and the harmonious blend of .Paak’s vocals with guest appearances from Earl Sweatshirt and Rae Khalil on “WalkOnBy”. This track was shared earlier this week as a final preview before the album’s release.
The album also includes previously released singles such as “FromHere”, which features L.A. hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg and Death Row-signed R&B singer October London, “Where I Go” featuring Grammy and Oscar-winning artist and actress H.E.R., “86Sentra”, and “Daydreaming”. “Why Lawd?” is also available for purchase on LP and CD.
Since the release of “Yes Lawd!”, .Paak has risen to global fame, becoming an 8-time Grammy winner and achieving a successful solo career. Meanwhile, Knxwledge has solidified his reputation as one of the greatest beatmakers of our era, winning a Grammy Award and amassing an extensive catalog of his own. He has also been sought after by artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt.
