The ‘X Records’ popup will see Stones Throw HQ transformed into an old-school record store in the vein of L.A.’s iconic, now-closed Tower Records. Fans can expect special guest appearances, exclusive merch, collectibles, signings, GOATs, DJs, and plenty more. RSVP to the event here.

Entry is totally free and no purchase is necessary. On Friday, June 7th, a free-entry afterparty will be held at Gold Line next door, with an all-vinyl set from DJ Pee .Wee – Anderson .Paak’s DJ alias – from 10 pm to midnight.

The popup will be open 3-8 pm on June 7th and 12 pm-5 pm on June 8th-13th. Anderson .Paak will be signing records and more at 5-8 pm on June 7th and 12-3 pm on June 8th.

Why Lawd? is out on June 7th (physical) and June 14th (digital). It marks the long-awaited return of NxWorries, 8 years after the release of their cult classic debut Yes Lawd!. In the time since, .Paak has achieved global superstardom through his solo career and Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars. Knxwledge has meanwhile cemented his legacy as one of the great beatmakers of our time, a Grammy Award-winner with a prolific catalog of his own, who has worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt and others. Songs already released from Why Lawd? Include “FromHere” feat. Snoop Dogg & October London, “86Sentra”, “Daydreaming” and “Where I Go” feat. H.E.R.

The ‘X Records’ popup is powered by Gala Music who, in tandem with the popup event, will release a NxWorries Mystery Box on their Web3 platform containing an exclusive “Daydreaming” remix by Knxwledge along with other rare and limited NxWorries collectibles and experiences.
