Statement from the Atlanta Film Society regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)

As of March 12, 2020, we intend to move forward with the 44th Atlanta Film Festival as planned, keeping our dates of April 30 – May 10, 2020. We are taking cues from local authorities, including the Georgia Governor, who specifically mentioned not recommending the cancellation of events and public gatherings. Our event is still 48 days out and we recognize there is a lot that can happen in that time. We will continue to monitor the situation, with particular emphasis on the developments in metro Atlanta.
