Liverpool’s favourite pop innovators Stealing Sheep release their brand new album: GLO (Girl Life Online)’. The new album also marks the launch of the band’s own label G-IRL (Girl In Real Life). This week the band revealed a string of 2026 UK tour dates including London’s Colours on February 13th, and will celebrate the album launch over the next week with instore performances at Rough Trade shops across the country.

“GLO is a commentary on the girl gaze, identity performance, and navigating culture through a female lens — it’s about reclaiming our voice, exploring millennial girlhood in today’s toxic online world, and searching for something utopian and real beyond the screen.” explain the band.

Stealing Sheep’s latest offering is an audacious return to album form with its infectious fusion of British club pop experimentalism, relentless intricacy and rich vocal arrangements. The new album and the launch of the trio’s own label marks a new era for Stealing Sheep – it’s a declaration of independence and a creative movement pulsating with kaleidoscopic joy and determination to bring energy back to the real world. The album also features collaborations with Big Joanie’s Estella Adeyeri – ellaments, She Drew The Gun, Meduulla and Mickey Dripping.

Each pop thumper is a substantial star in the GLO universe. No half moons, just red giant supernova mad bangers; perfectly aligned in what will surely become a magnum opus for the UK’s most adventurous powerhouse vocal pop trio.

Bunkered down in Nan’s House Studio with co-writer, producer and long-time trusted rustler, Joe Wills. Together, each track and melodic yarn were unpicked and re-sewn beneath tungsten dock road sunrises in pursuit of a more comprehensively collaborative album process. A real double down on densely populated lyrical hooks and darker layered narratives that reflect the emotional swell and undercurrent of everyone’s lives during that isolated spell together; a story of chronic distraction, toxic nostalgia, algorithmic fomo, second child, second chances and full circle self acceptance. It’s a characteristically exhaustive sonic vista. Glam doom for the masses. Unique in its curation and delivery; there is no denying the full eye contact, direct and urgent nature of this record…and yet what remains is a delicate aftertouch; a coy tender complexity that leaves a wistful nostalgia for the moment we’re still experiencing. The trio’s new label G-IRL (Girl in Real Life) born out of frustration with existing models and a lack of quick fire creative exchange and opportunities for spontaneity during long pre-meditated release campaigns. They now seek to unbridle their collective scene and cultivate the less predictable landscape of British pop music. Bringing digital hybrid vigour to real life guerrilla listening experiences. As long time devoted underdogs of the pop world, and talented producers and visual artists in their own right, Stealing Sheep draw on profound inspiration from their hometown of Liverpool and the eclectic influences and characters that surround them. They are a power trio like no other, blending obscure musical innovation with visual art inspired by the likes of Jeremy Deller and Cindy Sherman.

Living in Toxteth, they embody authenticity, bearing their art from lived experience and community as opposed to glamorous facades. GLO (Girl Life Online) is a fierce commentary on both the empowering and destructive allure of social media within their world. A place where dreams, distraction and envy collide; a digital dystopia in which everyone can shine and bask in the burning rays of their real self.
