Charity Celebrity Basketball Game Honoring The Family of Javon Craddock Launches August 18, 2018

Chattanooga, TN, – On Saturday, August 18, 2018, Streetball Showdown will host their first annual Charity Celebrity Basketball game at Tyner Academy, 6836 Tyner Rd. Chattanooga, TN, 37421 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.Former AND 1’s Shut Down Kings will face off against The Chattanooga All-Stars in one highly competitive game. While the main event is the game, live entertainment, giveaways and other activities will take place fun for the entire family. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to honor the family of Javon Craddock and Tyner Basketball.

“The Streetball Showdown platform was created to use Basketball as the main source to promote unity in the community and to bring basketball back to its original intent, mentorship,” comments Roger Woods, Co-Founder of Streetball Showdown. The event will feature former AND 1 star 50 and his new squad, Remix, Som Serious, and Hawk from the movie Uncle Drew. Admission for the Streetball Showdown game is free for children 5 and under, $10 for general admission, and $20 for VIP. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.

Former AND 1 player, Robert Martin comments, “I enjoy being a part and participating in events like Streetball Showdown. It allows me the opportunity to continue traveling the world and still play the game I love after 37 years of playing.”
