Argentine producer tatool releases today his solo single debut featuring TRUENO, one of the most influential voices in Spanish-language rap. Titled “lo que pase,” the track marks a bold new chapter in tatool’s career, stepping into the spotlight after years behind some of the biggest hits in Latin urban music. “lo que pase” delivers an electric and afrohouse atmosphere, combining urban power with lyrics that openly embrace desire and the thrill of a night where anything can happen. Driven by modern rhythms and dancefloor-ready synths, the song reflects tatool’s artistic sensibility as both a producer and now a performer, while showcasing the story behind his creative collaboration with TRUENO. Notably, this is tatool’s first release as an artist under Sony Music Latin.
The relationship between the artists runs deep. tatool, born Santiago Ruiz, has been part of the rapper’s production team since the beginning, including TRUENO’s successful album “Atrevido,” released in 2020. Since then, he has collaborated with leading artists like Nicki Nicole, Milo J, and Tiago PZK, and produced, among many others, TRUENO’s major hit “REAL GANGSTA LOVE,” contributing his vision to a new generation of Latin American sound.
