TRAP DICKEY RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO “DON’T TRIP”

Turning up with a “song of the summer” contender,  buzzing South Carolina rap phenomenon Trap Dickey uncovers a confident and charismatic new single and music video entitled “Don’t Trip” out now.

The track hinges on a throwback-style R&B sample punctuated by melodic keys and a silky female harmony. Against this backdrop, Trap Dickey leans into the production and showcases his emotional side for the first time. The smooth bars are meant to soothe his girl’s worries until he goes on to assure, “Baby girl quit flexin’ on me, I don’t know why you trippin’ out. You done been through a lot of things, but you with Trap Dickey now.” It’s his most heartfelt and hypnotic banger yet. The accompanying visual follows him on a date, shooting hoops, roller skating, and sharing a tender moment in a red Mercedes-Benz convertible on a rooftop.
